EA has implemented a non-fix for this. This means that the items are no invisible (most of them) but still there. The overlapping festivals seem fixed but the objects are not....
Ideas
I have encountered this bug a number of times and seem to have found the cause of the issue.
I am playing on PC with the following specs: 128SSD, 1TB Hard drive, 16GB Ram, intel i7 7th gen, Nvidia Geforce GTX.
I removed all mods before encountering the bug.
I have been playing in forgotten hollow and could not find any plasma trees, I then noticed that there were also no plants, frog, or dig sites spawning in the world.
After a number of sessions researching I created a new save file and transferred my house and characters via the library. The plasma trees and collectibles are available in the lot.
Having turned my house into a Residential Rental, assigned units and moved households into the two rentable units (with the landlord owning and living in the third 'home' unit) all the collectibles have vanished from forgotten hollow.
Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title as it only happens with R-Rentals, Apartments and Dorms
Having changed the lot back to a normal residential, the collectibles have returned.
I would really like to be able to play with rentable units and collectibles, not one or the other 😅
