After the latest patch both San Myshuno and Ciudad Enamorada don't load when i try and visit those worlds in manage worlds. The game doesn't crash but it leaves me on a blank screen. I can still access the options menu and quit the game. I've checked and its just those two worlds, all other worlds, including vacation worlds, load fine. Removed all my mods and checked again and they still don't load. I'm speculating that it's because they are the only 2 worlds with penthouse lots?

Well, it was tricky but I managed to get into San Myshuno. No more white screen.
My penthouse was a residential rental😬. The fix was to go to the lot WITHOUT using the world selection screen and change it back to residential. (Even if your penthouse is a different lot type, this might fix it.) If anyone wants to try, this is what I did:
First, if a playable sim owns the rental, sell it through their "Owned Businesses" panel. If the owner happens to live in one of the worlds that won't load, go to a working world and send the sim there using the "Visit" icon that appears after selecting a lot. Then sell.
Go to Manage Households and move the sim/family that lives in the penthouse to a different world.
Play the family and start a social event that will allow you to choose any lot in the Fashion District (or in whatever district your penthouse is located, for example, Nuevo Corazon for Ciudad Enamorada.) Once you arrive, end the social event. Scroll over to the rental and click directly on its walls to "Visit Lot."
After arrival, enter Build mode. Delete all extra rental units, if any, then change lot type to residential. Done.

Update : It doesn't work again ... I don't understand.
Another update : I went to a household in Tomarang, invited a sim living in San Myschuno. And I changed the sim in CAS by clicking on him. This changed the active household and then I was able to access San Myschuno normally again.
I’m unable to load San Myshuno at all, as it only gives me a white screen. I’m hesitant to try this method because I’m worried it might make my saves even more unstable.
All you have to do is give it a try, but do not save the game until you're sure everything is working correctly. You can also use "Save As" instead, that way your original saves are untouched.
No changes are permanent unless you click Save.
This helped a lot! I had rentals on my penthouse lots in both San Myshuno and Ciudad Enamorada and couldn’t load both worlds. I did everything as you described and it worked like a charm. Thank you so much! I really hope this bug get fixed soon, For Rent is breaking the game every single time :(

How did you actually enter building after ending the hang out? I cannot even do that; it still hangs up on the white screen.
What exactly did you do after ending the hangout? Do not leave the lot or exit the world, etc. Simply scroll over to the penthouse from live mode, zoom in and click on its walls.
so, I turned my residential rental in ciudad enamorada into residential again, then saved and restarted the game, but I still get the white screen. was there any other thing you might have done or do I need to wait until the ea team realizes this feature is broken and launch an update?
It seems there are 2 penthouses in that world, did you make sure neither of them has an r-rental? If both penthouses are residential but you still have the issue, I'd try fixing any other residential rentals you have in that world, if any.
If that fails, you probably have to wait for a fix from EA, sorry.
Yes this worked I tired my residential rental on a Ciudad Enamorada penthouse to a residential and everything went back to normal. I tried turning it back to a residential rental to see what would happen and the white screen came back so this is definitely a big related to residential rentals and penthouse lots.
How did you get in the world to change it to a residential? I can't go in no matter which way i try.
I made a sim from another world create an event in the calendar and chose a nearby lot as the location. Once my sim had traveled to that lot I clicked on one of the residential rentals to visit.
Hello my world is the Ciudad Enamorada that isn't loading will the same methode work on my world that it did for san Myshuno? i dont have mods, i repaird my game and i deleted my cache files but nothing is working.
i just try doing a event in that world and let it finish it then i try traveling but all it did was load non stop it didn't even go to the loading screen it just was loading on the UI screen it showed my sims on the screen and the lot and had the loading icon but it didn't go to the loading screen.
