I am having a related issue where I load my household after traveling (or playing as a different household), only to discover that my cow is gone. The shed is empty, but Zzzz VFX continue to play, as if the cow were asleep inside. Clearly, she is NOT present, given that I have the option to "Purchase Animal...". (Yes, I checked my Household Inventory and my Sim's personal Inventory - the cow is not there).
