Also experiencing this issue for the first time. Been casually Simsing with CL for a couple of years but recently took up an off the grid challenge involving cottage living, ranching and lots of farming. on my 4th cow as they don't live forever, and after one cow was grim reaped, I bought another. never appeared. I figured my sim glitched / their needs exploded and just didn't do the action so I selected purchase an animal from the shed again and the sim did indeed purchase a cow.
I tried assigning animal to the shed, and lo there are 2 cows available! I select a cow to add to the shed, and the sim does the movements, and the shed says there's a cow inside. but it cannot be called out.
After a bit of googling, I check the household inventory, and there are 2 cows in the household inventory. Can't place them in build mode (but I don't think you're meant to..?)
They just won't be added to the shed.
Has anyone had any luck with having multiple sheds? I'm wondering if because I don't have enough sheds for all the cows now in my inventory that is causing a problem?
If I can't have cows in this save again I'll probably quit my off the grid lot challenge play, which is sad because it's lots of fun! but I just don't want cows stuck in the household inventory!!
Hopefully this might be fixed soon? Cottage living is a super pack and added loads of cute gameplay. Probably won't waste any more money on Sims packs if EA can't demonstrate they fix serious glitches :(
