Short dirty nail swatch causing Sim to look metallic

As I was playing through the Nature's Calling event, my sim put on the Flowing Fronds Swimwear and looked like this. Extremely noticeable visual glitch. Images included.

Oh dear. Do you have any CC installed? And are your graphics set to laptop mode?

CC disabled and no laptop mode.

After I updated my game with the July 1 patch, my sim got this shiny grid-like pattern all over her skin, which didn't happen until after I opened CAS. It's not the new shiny skin accessory, which doesn't even work when I click on it in CAS. I took out all my mods and CC and I cleared my local thumb cache, and it's still happening. 

When applying any swatch of the short version of nails that black/green outline, the entire Sim has a weird shiny, gem-like texture. The weird overlay goes over everything (skin, hair, clothes, accessories, etc). Started happening after the pre-expansion pack, base game patch (7-1-25).

If so, let me know whether the sim is wearing those same nails, or whether removing the nails or another specific CAS item fixes the issue.  I can merge your post with the bug report if it fits.

This is happening to me as well on Xbox series x 

OK so I found the new dirty nails from the base game update and the second set of them when I put them on my Sims entire body got a weird glitchy sheen to it. I just rectangles of bright white shine all over her body and like I removed all the accessories I had on and everything and it was just kind of generally just changed spots, but it wouldn’t go away until I took the nail polish off. I haven’t seen anyone else have this problem But it’s crazy.
