I play on console specifically PlayStation and they fixed this bug before but it’s bugged again. In build mode it won’t let me rotate a roof that I have copied it switches to the tool bar.

I have the same problem…with stairs, even before the last update.
No guarantee it will work, but: Try copying the room and then rotating it. SOMETIMES that works for me with the stair rotation problem 🥲🤷♀️...(If you haven't already tried this)
This did not work for me now my game keeps crashing too even on PS5.
