Constant phone calls and text messages

The 'fast-forward' is interrupted on a nightly basis every 30 seconds or so. It can get mightly annoying...

If you own most or all The Sims 4 game and expansion packs, the constant phone calls from Sims become overwhelming. Every few in-game minutes, you get another call—someone asking to hang out, go to a festival, celebrate something, or just gossip. It doesn’t stop. The sheer volume of calls stacks up fast, especially with multiple packs installed, since each one adds new social events or reasons for Sims to contact you.

The worst part isn’t even that the messages repeat (which they do), but how relentless the calls are. You barely finish answering one before the next rings in. It interrupts gameplay constantly—whether you’re building, storytelling, or just trying to live a peaceful Sim life, the phone never lets you be. It turns the game from a chill sandbox into a constant social spam simulator.

This is a huge problem, and I am well and truly about out of patience with it. On top of all of those normal ones now I am having to deal with people calling and texting that it isn't nice to drink someone's blood without their permission. I DO NOT CARE!!!! Or so and so said that they don't like you very much, or I hear someone despises you, or being disliked is a slippery slope and I am sure there is another one I am not thinking of. Again, I DO NOT CARE!! I know what I am doing and having my sim do and one of these calls would be plenty good enough for a warning. But no. Every single stinkin time I do something with my sim people have to call or text about it. Oh and another one they call about is to tell me that they never really liked the person my sim harassed. WE DON'T CARE AND DON'T NEED PERMISSION OR APPROVAL FROM ANYONE. And like someone said, these constant harassments interrupt not only fast forward game play but also speed 2. I tend to roll on the middle speed (which I think of as speed 2) and it is a constant hassle to do anything because of getting slowed down from these calls and texts. My sim also doesn't need his mother and father calling twice a day to add to these interruptions, especially when everyone should know that he is at work. Whoever programmed this stuff had to be a **bleep** who was just out to annoy people and how it slipped through I cannot imagine unless nobody cares about our blood pressure and never bothers to actually play the game. No sane person would deal with this so I know I must have some screws loose. Between all the game issues and this stuff my patience is wearing extremely thin right now.

I will read the instructions and send my save tomorrow. I am done for the night.

I’m about ready to disable Get Together. No, it’s not the only source of the calls, but it’s probably more than half of them. Even with the phone supposedly silenced there’s still constant calls.

This is STILL an issue

I've downloaded mods to at least lessen it but this has gotten worse for me since August. I just wish there was a way to choose what kind of calls we receive in the game options>packs settings because I like the other stuff, I just want fewer calls.

I am not fond of their phones. The number of game interruptions is obnoxious.

The more friends and relationships a sim has, the more they will be harassed even if their phone is on silent. The only way to have true peace and quiet is to delete every relationship they have outside the home lot. Even then, sometimes one will sneak through, but it is rare.

This is not something that should need to be reviewed; it is easily re-creatable.
