Dishes get stuck in furniture

Dishes in the furniture, pets in the Sims, Sims into the walls and other objects. I’ve seen it all. I can’t find the thread with many examples, it was on the forum, maybe mods could help find it - and EA team could maybe finally fix it...?

I had something like this about a month ago. I had a dryer on top of a washing machine, and a sim put a plate on top of the washing machine, as if the dryer wasn't there. So in my case, it wasn't exactly inside furniture, but it was on a surface that should have been inaccessible. 

I have also experienced stinky sideways plates stuck mid-air. I am able to drag these away or shift-click reset them, so that is usually how I handle this problem.
