i have no mods, bought a restaurant, on a new save, opened it and closed it for business, the game doesnt let me open it again after that, and the rating stars dont update on panel after notification...

Does this only occur when you achieved a higher rating or also if you open and close it right away ?
both ways and the rating doesnt update after you get notification, if you leave lot the side panel later says you dont own a restaurant
it seems that others are having this issue as well, on this forum
angiemohamed I gave this a short test (without really playing the restaurant) and was able to open/close it fine.
Do you have a link for others having this issue ?
it's happening in my game to I have a gaming pc and a laptop this bug only happens on my gaming pc not on my laptop and my pc and laptop have the same mods everything is the same but it only happens on my pc I also have the carl dine out mod I tried removing it from my mods folder it still won't open but it opens on my laptop
did you also delete the localthumbcache file and moved the whole mods folder to the desktop ?

Hi RelaxedRealmgame in the saved you sent me, there's no employees in your restaurant. I have no issues opening it once I hire some.
I went and looked I have employees hired and it still does not open
