i have no mods, bought a restaurant, on a new save, opened it and closed it for business, the game doesnt let me open it again after that, and the rating stars dont update on panel after notification...

Does this only occur when you achieved a higher rating or also if you open and close it right away ?
it's happening in my game to I have a gaming pc and a laptop this bug only happens on my gaming pc not on my laptop and my pc and laptop have the same mods everything is the same but it only happens on my pc I also have the carl dine out mod I tried removing it from my mods folder it still won't open but it opens on my laptop
did you also delete the localthumbcache file and moved the whole mods folder to the desktop ?
yup I did that as well
would you mind sending me your save then as MollyL09 fixed their issue and never send me theirs.
Hi RelaxedRealmgame in the saved you sent me, there's no employees in your restaurant. I have no issues opening it once I hire some.
I went and looked I have employees hired and it still does not open
since I can't duplicate the issue:
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.
