Whenever I visit any restaurant, no chef or hosts are present, so I can't sit at a table or order any food or drink. The fame setting in options isn't checked.

Same thing happened to me, but only in my long-term saves. New saves are working fine.
konansock I am glad some of you are still getting to play with dining out. Sadly I am not and still have an expansion pack I paid for that no long works. It is totally crap you do not realize how good pop out for a diner date or just out for food is till its gone what a waste of my money.
