[DO] No host or chefs at restaurant (Visit)

I have moved all my sims to brand new game which means I lost alot of family connections and it's happening again!! How has this not been fixed yet!!! now all my restaurants are broken. We have brought an add on that  is not working, if this was anything else I would be taking it back to the shop for a refund but clearly we can not do that, its just a total rip off.

Do we have any updates on this? It keeps happening.

So this is still an issue for me I have even made a whole new save and moved my sims over and still no hosts in dining every time there is new update it brakes, I had it back for a small while but now its broken again, I play on xbox next gen its really getting to me because I paid for this pack.

How are you ment to play night on the town with no Hosts or cooks pssh!!!!

same issue. No NPCs at community lots and no staff in venues - restaurants, vets, bars etc. Such a shame, it takes away so many playing options.

i am on a Mac with no mods.

I just had this happen to me. No host/cooks, nobody. I couldn't do anything at all.

sorry to hear that :( sad you cant do this on xbox, it totally fixed for me, hope EA fix this on console soon!!

carolscosta14​  Sadly I can not do any back up folders and hard resets because I'm on xbox and now I have lost San Myshuno altogether I'm going to have to start a new game and save my sims to library move them over sad part is there gonnar lose all there family trees and generations

I have a report about this. I was also suffering from this bug for a few days; I had even given up trying to solve it, and apparently, I accidentally fixed it... My game was lagging a bit (I have a downloaded ultimate save and play on it), so I decided to do that 'hard reset' on the game, backing up my folders and letting the game generate new ones. Factory reset is the name? I forgot. Anyway... when I did this, the employees started appearing again in the restaurants (so far, every one I've visited in my game had its proper staff: host, cook, waiter, etc.). So maybe it's worth a try for anyone who has this problem...

Oh, another thing I did was remove the 'No Empty Venues When Arrives' mod. I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but it was causing infinite loading screens in my game. Since I did both things at the same time (the hard reset and the removal of that specific mod), I thought it was worth mentioning.
I will keep an eye to see if this bug will return for me after a couple gameplays

TLDR: Hard reset solved the problem for me.
