[DU] Cafeteria stand charges student when placed in dorm

Issue Description:
When the cafeteria stand (Bon Appetit Cafeteria) is inside a university dormitory rather than the university commons, the student Sim is charged for food instead of receiving it for free. The same student Sim can order food for free from the same type of cafeteria stand when it is located in the university commons lot. This behavior occurs despite the Sim being an enrolled student at that university.

Expected Behavior:
Enrolled students should receive free meals from any cafeteria stand located on university grounds, regardless of whether the stand is placed in the dormitory or the commons building. The free meal benefit should be tied to the Sim's student status and the lot being a university lot, not to a specific building.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enroll a Sim at either University of Britechester or Foxbury Institute.
  2. Enter Build Mode  and place the Bon Appetit Cafeteria stand inside a dormitory .
  3. Wait for a vendor to spawn and operate the stand.
  4. Have the student Sim order food from the cafeteria stand in the dorm.
  5. Observe whether the Sim is charged or not.
  6. Travel to the university commons lot (e.g., Darby's Den for Britechester, Larry's Lagoon for Foxbury).
  7. Order food from the cafeteria stand there and compare.

Actual Result:

  • Dormitory cafeteria stand: Student Sim is charged for food.
  • University commons cafeteria stand: Student Sim receives food for free .

The same student, same university, same type of vendor stand — different payment outcome based solely on lot location.

Additional Notes:

  • The free meal benefit is documented as being available at the university's cafeteria located in the university Commons .
  • The cafeteria stand is the same object regardless of placement — this appears to be a lot-type or lot-tagging issue where the dormitory lot is not being recognized as eligible for the student meal benefit.
  • This may be related to how the game checks for "university commons" as a specific venue type rather than checking for any lot within the university world.
  • It doesn't matter if the Sim lives in the dorm or is visiting the dorm.

Impact:
Players who want to create a more realistic dormitory experience by adding an on-site cafeteria are penalized financially. Students must either travel to the commons lot for free meals or pay for food in their own dorm. This reduces the usefulness of the cafeteria stand object in dorm builds and breaks immersion.

  • I usually just wait until a random dormmate spawns Lobster Thermidor and puts it on the back of a toilet hahaha

    Talk about breaking immersion!

Anyway, I like your idea much better and I think it should be fixed ;)
