The best way to deal with this is to turn the Community Space into a Recreation Centre.
Sure you will have to add the elements required for a Recreation Centre, but once you've done that, people will visit between 7am and 10pm. And if you bring your own Sales Table, you can do that interaction. Vendor stalls still don't work though unless you hire them.
I have a lot more Rec Centers since they broke the EL Community lots, but they just don't serve the same purpose. The community centers were always bustling hives of activities with eco role sims, mentors and market vendors. Lots of interacting. Talking to bugs. Rec Centers are sort of go there do your own thing. Not as lively.
What we need is for EA to fix Eco Lifestyle. They've yet to even acknowledge that they broke it. 🙂
