The game will load me in but once I click on my house hold it either just loads and have to restart the game or it just takes me back to the worlds and it’s just glitching.

I’m encountering an issue where an old save file gets stuck on an infinite loading screen. However, I can play normally when I start a new save.
What’s unusual is that I can enter the old save’s world management screen without any problems, but I’m unable to load into any playable household.
I’ve already removed all mods, but the issue still persists.
If the official team is willing to assist, I’m happy to provide the save file and any additional information needed for troubleshooting.
Could you please provide the following information
- Please also provide any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.
- Not the official team (if you mean Maxis) but if you upload the save somewhere and DM me the link, I can take a look.

My old save has a family that's been played for 20 generations. I guess because the family tree in that old save is so huge, it took me an hour to complete loading without any mods.
A Sim with no family relationships is the same way.

I think that's probably the reason:
On every loading, the game synchronizes the state of SimInfos with the family tree graph in the save and family relbits between all related sims.

is this with or without mods/cc for you ? Could you also share your save game.
I did some testing with BRLVDVEEE save game and it never loaded although I let it run for about 4 hours.
I then did some household deleting and was able to load it after loading one or more specific households (wasn't able to narrow it down yet). So for this save it seems to be something about a specific household.
Unfortunately endless loading is hard to diagnose and there's a whole bunch of threads around and mods removed or present can add to the game not loading or loading long.
I'd be especially interested in a save from someone that never had mods/cc in their game.
