Had trouble getting the couple to perform vows at the arch. It says partner wasn’t near when they are both standing by the arch. Nothing was in the way. Had to restart game now for it to work?

Having the exact same issue. I've tried restarting the game, repairing the game, and even restarting my PC. I've also cleared their marriages multiple times and it continues to be greyed out. No CC is being used in my game. Always says that the their fiancé is not around or that they need to get engaged first. This is a bummer because I'm playing my sim self and my irl partner :(
