Fast Forwarding freezes game

I press fast forward button, time is frozen after the game start around 10 secs and everything I can't click in. This satuation doesn't appear before the update.I try to reset the sim but it is not w...

OK guys/gals! I found a solution!!

Start sims4.
While playing your household, you time may stuck at 12:xx-04:xx
You cannot click anything

If above 3 is your symptom, my fix works!

Before start playing right after load:

In Game Options, make sure you set to "Windowed Fullscreen"
Turn on any stereo, play some music!
DO NOT use ">>" or ">>>".

And when the stuck happens:

Now, simply press "||" button. Your sim won't pause, stereo music still playing, right? Don't worry.
Next, Click "..." (top-right corner) to show MENU. Don't click anything, just display MENU as-is.
Just Alt+Tab to other window like browser and watch some youtube or something. Just simply let TS4 running in background.
Simply let it cook for about 5-10 minutes,
Eventually, you will heard the stereo music stops. It seems TS4 finally fix itself!
Go back to TS4, close MENU, then click "|>". The time will resume normally!
