[FR] Sims obsessively use pressure cooker, ignore leftovers and other meals

Issue Description:
Sims are obsessively drawn to use the pressure cooker (from the For Rent expansion pack) for cooking meals. They will frequently choose to use this appliance instead of getting leftovers from the refrigerator or cooking other types of food. This behavior occurs even when the Sim is not hungry, or when a quick meal or leftovers would be a more sensible option. The autonomy to use the pressure cooker appears to be tuned too high, causing it to override other food-related decisions and interrupt other activities.

Expected Behavior:
Sims should have a balanced approach to fulfilling their hunger need. They should prioritize getting leftovers from the refrigerator or preparing quick meals. The pressure cooker should be just one of several options, used when it makes sense to cook a large meal, not an obsessive compulsion that overrides all other food-related logic.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. On a residential lot, place a pressure cooker in the kitchen alongside a refrigerator.
  2. Have leftovers available in the refrigerator or raw ingredients for other meals.
  3. Allow the game to run with full autonomy (free will enabled).
  4. Observe the Sim's behavior when they become hungry or have idle time.

Actual Result:

  • The Sim repeatedly and autonomously chooses to use the pressure cooker.
  • This behavior happens even when leftovers are available.
  • It often overrides other queue activities, leading to an obsessive loop of pressure cooker use.

Additional Notes:

  • The pressure cooker is a functional appliance from the For Rent pack, used to prepare meals in large servings.
  • This obsessive behavior is a known community issue that has led to the creation of mods like the "No Autonomous Use Pressure Cooker on Residential Lots" mod. One mod author noted, "I never could use the pressure cooker in my kitchens without this mod as my Sims would get so obsessed with using it all the time, even as a multi tasking interaction (mostly while reading).".
  • This is part of a broader pattern of similar bugs with other small appliances like the ice cream maker, popcorn maker, and waffle maker, where Sims obsessively use them autonomously.
  • The pressure cooker also has other reported issues, such as triggering a "Dirty Surroundings" moodlet or a green smoke visual bug.

Impact:
High. This bug significantly disrupts normal gameplay. The obsessive behavior makes household management frustrating, as Sims will repeatedly fail to address their needs efficiently and will interrupt any other tasks they might be doing to use the pressure cooker. This undermines the core autonomy system and makes the object effectively unusable for many players without resorting to community-created mods.

  • This is not limited only to the pressure cooker.  I have this issue with all convenient mini appliances like the Pizza Oven and Waffle Maker.  I think this ties into the sim obsessions with things like fitness etc too.

This is a constant issue with various appliances including the rice cooker/pressure cooker for me too. Just about every appliance except the mixer sims obsess over.

Yo, same issue, my fitness loving teen would non-stop cook on pressure cooker. She'd be starving, cook on pressure cooker, refuses to wait and immediately jumps into autonomously queueing another cooking action.

I would take my eyes off for 2 minutes and there's something in the pressure cooker that I just emptied a couple seconds ago.
