I have never received rent from any property. I now have multiple. Why do I keep purchasing rental properties? Just for the fun of it I guess. Rent never comes in. I have no mods so that is not the issue. I didn't even know there was a way to see how long the lease period is. I'll have to check that out. It seems a lot of money to purchase an extension that doesn’t actually work.
I see many people have the issue but there is never a response to help with this. It's about time someone found a cheat to force the rents to be paid.
I finally got some rent. I had to start a whole new game with new people, in the new town. I was hoping my previous game could include rental properties, but apparently not.
That said, my tenants paid a week’s rent then promptly broke their lease for no apparent reason. Oh well I got a new tenant. We shall see how that goes. I shall keep experimenting to see what other scenarios will work.
