Freezing/White screen when after loading into new area

Went to go to that midnight revelry (?) in Ravenwood and it froze and then white screened after I clicked around. Task manager didn't work and I ended up shutting my PC down to get out of it. No mods. Freshly updated from yesterday. I haven't even opened the game in months.

  •  have the same problem! It turns white and the only thing I can do is go back to main menu or exit the game

    • Did you never have any mods/cc on this save or did you remove them ?
    • Do you get a white screen every time you go into Ravenwood now ?
    • Did you build any residential rental in the hood ?
    • Is this the only place you have the issue ?
    • Can you duplicate the issue doing it a second time (I assume you weren't able to save ?)
    • Do you have issues on other saves too ?

k_m_Andrea Same area ? Did you also go to the moon revelry ? If so, please answer the questions above as well

Same goes to everyone else that upvoted this.

    I don't have/use any mods or cc.

I honestly haven't opened the game since. This is the only save I've used in a while, so i'm not sure about other places, though from other reports, it seems to be an all around issue. I don't own the for rent.  expansion.

Would be great if you could do some testing. Simply don't have any time to look at saves myself currently.

Also if you could check this it would also be helpful:

    Do you have any LastException/LastUIExceptions files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    - Delete the ones you have
    - Trigger the error again
    - Check if new ones are created
    - If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

Putting this on review for EA to look into.
