A few days ago I had installed more dlc and when I waited for it I also download more mods (I have so many) and when I got to play it again the screen looks like this, it has a gray tint to it. I can't click on anything but the screen is still moving? I deleted the game and so much other things I saw online and came to the conclusion that it is my mods. I have no idea how to find the right mods that are messing me up and have already deleted a few but still nothing. I lost all my saves and just want to be able to play so if anyone knows what to do please help!
I have the same problem and it's been driving me nuts for years. It happens with game events. When that "claim now" or "buy now" screen comes up first, this happens. Then I have to control alt delete and start all over. It's super annoying and I'd love to know why it happens. It happens once and then with Ctrl alt delete and firing up the game again, it doesn't happen. I'm 100% certain of the cause. I just don't understand the why, and I hope someone will weigh in here. I was going to upload my own screenshot, but it's the exact same and you can't upload to comments apparently.
For me it seems to be MCC command center giving me the grey UI issue as of today. I did the same thing, installed new DLC and updated mods and I attempted to update MCC command center but it seems to be bugged.
