I have had this issue for ages. It will eventually close, and my game loads, but it requires patience, and certainly it shouldn't take this long. I will say that this - at least for me - is related to having mods enabled. If I do not, the ads close immediately. When I do, it takes ages. No idea why, but it's been this way since the ads started showing up this way.
