[GALLERY] Unable to search by username on web

Hi all,

We've identified the issue affecting creator searches on the new web Gallery and are aiming for a fix early next week.

In the meantime, you can still search for specific users in the web Gallery by adding @ before their username (for example, @​SimmerName). 

Hi, EA_Solaire​ ! Thank you for getting eyes on this. I see this has been split from my thread, but I really hope this functionality returns as well as the other missing features like missing profiles, missing hashtags and the Following menu.

I noticed that the Gallery update, which was supposed to promise more ways to search, actually removed various search methods for the web browser version, making it even more impossible to find stuff.

For example, there’s no way to search by user ID anymore, so how are we supposed to find creations by our favorite Simmers or even check on creations we made ourselves? I like to browse things this way on the web version before jumping into the game. Now we can only search by item name or hashtag.

EA, please stop changing things and making them worse for no reason. You still haven’t even fixed the roofs you messed up with your latest “fix.” Please restore the search tools to the web version of The Gallery!

I am trying to type in my EA ID for my gallery but it only lets me select by name or #hashing not by ID now why and why cant we click on another players ID in the Web version?

Thanks for reporting this I thought it was just me I tried to type in my ID and it wont let me it only lets us search by name and #hashtag now we cant even click on another players ID either.

I second this, totally agree what you said Lluck002​ , I couldn't put it better myself.

We've made some changes to the web Gallery- you should now be able to search for usernames again as normal.
