Game crash when saving on PS4

Hello, 

I play Sims 4 on the PS4 never had many issues other than some lag. Ever since I got the latest expansion it crashes every 3rd time I save. It is not a mod problem since I can’t do so on PS4. The Sims is the only game on my PS4 other than Netflix and hulu. My PS4 also is in fine working condition with proper air flow. Can someone please help?
