Game freezes when Moving in

Hi, I wanted my sim to be enrolled into university and live in dorms. Unfortunately, my game gets stuck on the "split from household" screen. I can click stuff at the screen while it's stuck, but it won't continue the moving and I have to force quit the game. Also, at the same time, if I save while quitting the game, the sim gets completely lost.

I know there is/was issue with moving households together and that the way to do it was through manage world, but I cannot do that with university housing.

Please help?

When my sim was asked to move in with another sim, it does not trigger the moving process, the sim would keep asking multiple times to move in but i had to manually move them into my household 

this is happening to me too! they must of broke the moving in interaction my game does not freeze luckily i had to manually move them in

UPDATE: Check your mods there maybe an issue with it

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
• Is it just Uni that's an issue or does it also freeze when you move somewhere else ?
• Was this as part of the enrollment process ?
• Did it just get stuck after you pressed the check button or was the check button just greyed out ?

• how did you remove your mods/cc ? Did you make sure to delete the localthumbcache file and move out the entire mods folder ?
• What kind of wedding did you throw ? MWS or Base game ?
• Did you use the ask to move in interaction or another way ?
• Can you move in outside of weddings ?

• Which interactions you have issues with ? The move/split on the phone or the ask to move in ?
• Did you try to move the entire household ?

Hi crinrict​ , in the meantime, I continued with my save, so for the testing and taking my mods out, I had to make new save. Weird thing is, everything works now in the new save AND the one that had issue even with the mods back in game. So it might have been the specific sim issue? (I cannot test it specifically with her now).

But just to give more info about the problem I had yesterday. It seemed to be only moving into dorms issue, because since I had one sim only, the "split household" did not appear when moving through phone.

The sim technically got enrolled in the uni - today while testing in the save where the sim disappeared after I closed the game when the issue occurred, I found her again - she was just standing in front of her old house. Weird thing is, she was not anywhere to be found in the manage households, but she was in the world. I added her to household I was testing with and she was in fact enrolled to uni. 

And it got stuck after I clicked the check button. I could move money, I could click on the sim, but not move her to the other "old household" side, and I could click and unclick the "sell everything from the house" (or some similar type of message, I'm sorry I'm translating it from my language).

Just had a wedding in-game (modded, MCCC mainly), normal base game wedding (have all packs), had a major lag spike during the wedding (might have been because I had around 20 sims on the lot at the time), but no issues with wedding or move-in afterwards (move-in worked just fine)
