My game usually took like 10-15 seconds to load the main menu after the game intro, but currently it's taking more than a minute to load it. Initially I thought it could be related to mods, but even...

Been having this issue too,I thought it was my mods, but even with mods,it takes very long to load
Update: I tried loading it. It usually takes around 2-3 hours to load for me due to the insane amount of mods I have, and the game took around 5-7 hours to load and it crashed straight away so I wasn't able to play. This needs to be fixed asap cause I can't play the game properly.
Whoa, lol, thats a long load time, holy cow! 2-3 hours would drive me nuts to wait that long XD, you are super dedicated, lol
My mod folder is 86gb large and it takes 2-3 minutes perhaps from starting to hitting the main menu. And less than two minutes to load a 64x64 lot valued 2.7mil.
I think you dont have a game or mod issue, this is ancient pc hardware.
The thing is, the game opened relatively quickly before the last update. Now it takes an absurd amount of time to load.
If it was a hardware issue then it would likely have happened more gradually or would be an obvious problem with the PC unable to handle the game anymore. But that’s not the case, this was caused by one update. And the rest of the game loads the same. It’s specifically the main menu.
