Game keeps resetting my packs

Sagitdawg​ I play on a Series X and there is no "Check out the Marketplace" screen that pops up ahead of the "Welcome to..." prompts. Perhaps that screen appeared the very first time I launched the game after the Marketplace update (I can't remember) but it doesn't happen now.

Come to think of it, it's strange that you would get such a screen every time you boot up the game on your console. That sounds like a separate bug (if you've already checked it out, then the game shouldn't keep pestering you to do so on every launch) that just happens to be beneficial in your case for circumventing the Welcome to pop-ups.

In any case, in Xbox Series X, launching the game takes you immediately to the Welcome to DLC pop-ups. There's no avoiding it.

Sorry in advance to others who can't actually play, but I think there is a slight workaround for the pack welcome screen. Now I don't own a PS4 or 5 so I don't know if this going to work for that console, but it seems to work for Xbox One. As for X and S owners, well don't have one of those either, I've got an old Xbox One Slim, so try this. When the game starts and you get the screen to "Check out" the marketplace accept it (press A on "Check it out") this should take you directly to the marketplace. Then just press B to exit and it takes you to the main menu. Load your game as normal, there is a caveat, when exiting the game after playing the pack welcome screens appear, but just go to the dashboard and quit the game. The caveat is it does not clear build\buy items, but it does get past the pack\kit welcome screens when you first start the game. It has worked for me four out of four times, so good luck, and sorry once again to PS4 and 5 players if this doesn't work.

Don't you just love it? You log in. You click away these pop-ups. You start the game. You try to safe the game and it just crashes. So you start the game again. Click through the pop-ups, again. The game crashes, again. 

Playing the game starts to feel more like a chore. 

Owning every single pack & kit is making logging into the game unbearable. I have to back out of every single pack pop-up like it's the first time I'm buying it. I don't know how to make it stop. I've restored licenses, etc. And like others here, everything in Build & CAS are marked new. I almost didn't load the game this evening because I was worried I'd have to deal with the pop-ups. Welp, I do. I'm backing out right now. GGGRRR 

Try changing the sorting in your library. For some unfathomable reason, sorting was applied to there. It sorted all my stuff to the bottom and I nearly had a heart attack thinking it was gone.

Just noticed as well all the content that I have created is gone. All my households, lots, rooms.. all gone 😐. The ones that I have downloaded from other creators haven't gone tho.. 

Same issue on my PS5 since the 2.32 Marketplace update. Pack thumbnails keep popping up on start-up, all my items are gold and "new" in CAS, I cannot look at any of my Gallery saved households or lots without the game freezing. I'm un-stalling and reinstalling to see if this helps.

Update: It didn't fix it. Still X'ing away every **bleep** pack I have on start-up! And freezing, crashing Gallery issues. 

I'm getting the same issue and when I then go through all options in build mode 3 options are still showing something new

That's exactly what's been happening to me too with the cas/build buy being gold each time I open the game 

same issue here on ps4. and when i go to build mode everything’s gold- as if all the build/buy is new. it thinks every time i launch my game that my packs were just installed when i’ve had them a long time

please fix this bug asap. yay for the pets not disappearing but i cant play if i have to close out of 100 pop up windows. makes me regret getting so many add-ons 

Having the exact same issue!!! Pack pop uo screens keep coming back to matter what I do, I assume now its a bug that came with the update!

Xbox One player here. Same thing happening to me since the latest update to introduce the marketplace. I've gone through every category and clicked on each item to make the star in the upper left corner vanish. Quit and restarted sometime later, the same thing, main menu giving me the welcome screen as though I just bought all my packs. This time I thought I'd go thru the same process of making all the stars in the upper left vanish by using the cheats bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects. Once I got all those stars to vanish, it took about an hour to click them all. I played like usual. Next day I thought I'd check on it and started up the game same thing, pack welcome screens and all pack build buy objects had the stars in the upper left. The only exception was the base game items. So....I know it's a minor inconvenience, to click away thirteen welcome screens, but is someone going to fix it? Fingers crossed! 

Same thing here on ps5 since the April 16th update. And I can not save anymore, because the game crashes when I try.

That's exactly the problem I've been having where it shows the packs little welcome screen when I load into my game every single time and then I have to go through every single build item and cas item just to get rid of the contains new items thing

Same. I own a lot so it’s really frustrating to close them all at launch.

I am also experiencing this issue, on top of this the gallery won’t load any items containing DLC for me, have to reset the game anytime I click on something with DLC bc it will just get stuck on loading 😭

I'm having the same issue as well. It's pretty annoying having to close my packs every time I start the game.

I am experiencing the same issue. Was just logging on to report it. Having to exit out of 60+ pack information every time I log in is getting tiring.. My game is also crashing and my sims clothes/appearance is changing when zooming in and out. Not sure if the issues are related but it's been happening since the marketplace update.
