Every time I play an actor the hair and make-up chair doesn't change my sim's appeance at all. The hair and make-up stays default, but the gig can be played as usual.

Last time I had this bug, and I’m pretty sure it’s in the archived post, it was an issue with some skin tones. I had a Sim in the acting career with this bug, but changing his skin tone “fixed” it.

Having this same issue. I'm six gens into a legacy on console, so I can't change her skin tone.
Having the issue where hairstyles all revert back to Princess Leia even though they're not styled that way.
I love playing the actor career, however when my sim goes to change makeup and hair nothing changes. I know this complaint has been out for a while and I still haven't found a solution to this issue.
I have the same complaint....still.
Because I can't seem to access the archive anymore, here's the list of skin colors that seemed to work for me (I used a spellcaster, haven't checked since then): Green works, red doesn't.
I'm late to this post but this issue still hasn't been fixed and I don't really think its a fair solution to just accept that some skintones don't work with this career. I really hope the Sims team fixes this cuz it really ruins the immersion of some acting gigs.

Lucy_Godwing Wow! These images are a godsend. They must have been tough to research. Gonna save this, in case I make another Sim for this career.
