[GF] Premade sims don't have any fame level

The previous bug report you linked was SPOT ON! That’s precisely the issue I’ve been experiencing and also the exact behavior after changing the configuration. 

Alas, I’m afraid I won’t be able to share a save file, since I don’t own a PC. 😔 

I am having the same problem. When I create a new save file without mods (took the whole folder out) and I have the Sims Being Opted Out of Fame, the premade celebrities shine but they do not have any fame. So I went to play with the Bailey-Moon household and none of them have any fame. They are embarrassed because they are posers.

NPC celebrities in game do have the visual effects of being a celebrity (the stars), however they are not otherwise recognised as celebrities. Other sims don't react to them, I can introduce myself to them as if they were not famous, and there are no options to ask for autograph, photo or the other celebrity interactions.

I have the pack setting "Sims begin opted out of fame" enabled, and I think that could be related to this bug as a while ago there was a related bug with played sims gaining fame when they weren't supposed to.

I have the above setting enabled, and the pack settings carry across saves. So I think the above setting is somehow applying to NPC celebrities at the start of a fresh save. I tested by playing as Judith Ward in a fresh save with the setting enabled as default, and her fame info in the ui said "Staying out of the spotlight", despite her having celebrity fame point traits and visual effects.

Is it just me my Famous Townies are not showing up as famous anymore now u can just make Friends with them I talked to Thorne Bailey at the Beach and the attempt introduction was not there in his stars  were gone like this picture of her she supposed to be a  one star celebrity   and I made Friends with Thorne Bailey so easy .

i’ve been having a lot of issues with get famous lately

the first issue i noticed was it was no longer difficult to speak to celebrities, but that also meant there was no unique interactions with them, e.g ask for autograph.

i didn’t really care much as i never play with celebrities but recently i decided i wanted to try playing as a celebrity again, but since ive noticed so many issues

1. i don’t know if this is related but last time i played that save, everything seemed to be gone from my last time playing, my celebrity level had gone down but id gained a quirk i never had before? i also cheated to get my celebrity level back up and it said i was “a -insert celebrity level- again” but i hadn’t been that level before other than the save data i appeared to have lost

2. the game doesn’t say npcs celebrity levels above their heads, the only way to tell they’re celebrities is fame shine or by pressing them and seeing if the “enable/disable fame shine” option is there

3. i tried to fix the previous issue by turning thorne baileys game shine off and back on again but after turning it off it wouldn’t turn back on and any time i try with other sims to turn game shine on it won’t turn on

i play on pc, i do use cc but no script mods or anything like that

similar, however my settings are set for all sims to automatically be opted out of the spotlight, and celebrities like judith ward still are considered celebrities i believe like there’s all the paparazzi and people fainting over them however the headline effect of their celebrity status is missing and so are celebrity interactions with them

just double checked by going into the thorne bailey household, it shows he has no fame level, but he does have perks and quirks like someone in the comments of that thread said, the only thing is he still have the option for celebrity walk (which actually works) and the option to turn on/off fame shine which works turning off but womnt turn back on, aslo paparazzi still recognise him

I started a fresh save after the last August update and experienced this bug for the first time. Is exactly as described in the original post
