[GRO] Burnout moodlets don't go away/come back fast

Hello, tried to see if this issue had been reported and I saw something similar in the archives but looks like it was never actually addressed.

My sim got the "creative fog" moodlet randomly, while she was not doing anything. The time left on the moodlet says 24 hours if she isn't actively trying to lower it and 16 hours if she is trying to actively lower it (I've had her playing chess). Sleeping has not made the moodlet decrease at all and she's now had it for over 2 sim days. I also tried shift-click Make Happy to make it go away, and the moodlet is still there.

No mods or cc.

Came back to add that it's now turned into full on burnout which is stuck at either 24 hours or 12 hours (when actively trying to lower via meditation).

  • Hi bshrib

are you still having issues with this ?

These sims in the picture are reducing creative fog they got from being creative. While dancing/sleeping they burned out. I never had the time to reduce it before it set in. I do not think its an occult thing from my previous saves but these 2 sims are an Alien and Vampire respectively.

I own and have installed the packs:

    • Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Seasons, Get Famous, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Growing Together, Life and Death, Enhanced By Nature
    • Outdoor Retreat, Vampires, Parenthood, Werewolves, Dine Out
    • Perfect Patio, Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden, Kids Room, Backyard, Laundry Day, My First Pet, Tiny Living, Paranormal, Home Chef Hustle
    • Bust The Dust, Blooming Rooms, Desert Luxe, Poolside Splash, Modern Luxe
    • Holiday Celebration, Grim's Ghoulish Guitar
    • I have finished all the recent Events and unlocked those items as well

No mods have ever been installed on this computer.

  • I've been having a similar issue, my sims will do meditation and sleep, which lowers the burnout but when I stop doing the activity it resets the moodlet back to 24 hours. Doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough that it's really frustrating. I would also love an option to toggle burnout because it happens way too easily, my sims are constantly burned out to the point it makes me not want to play the game
