My child sims unable to learn to ride a bike. Clicking on the bike doesn’t give the learning option. And when using an adult to teach them to ride it doesn’t pop either. I have tried with mods and without mods in a totally new save after repairing the game and yet it doesn’t work.
Even if a child asks a parent to help them learn to ride a bike, they don't actually take action. Conversely, even if a parent suggests to their child that they should practice riding a bike and the child agrees, the suggestion is not carried out.
I'm a PS5 player.

HI UYAMAYU
to be sure, you're trying a bike for kids ?
I just tested this in my save to make sure something didn't break along the way and it worked fine. They do need a lot of space though.

Thank you for checking.
I did indeed select a child's bike, and I can select the same bike and practice by myself. I'll try again next time in a fairly large area. I'm glad to know that this is just my problem. Thank you for your cooperation.- KingRayVeteran13 days agoNew Veteran
I wouldn't call this old. Look at my date and it still doesn't work (sorry, I put this under you but was actually saying that to Lostangele7). The child is male. There's plenty of space. After an adult tries to teach, or the child asks an adult to teach him, he waves his arm in the air like he doesn't know what he wants to do and cancels the interaction. I had him in the middle of the street a bunch of times on both sides of the bike; in case it's a space issue. So, I have to start deleting cache? I forgot which files those were. Will it affect gameplay with other lots? I'm not very happy with old bugs resurfacing. That usually means there is a QA problem with the game.
