Playing on Mac, and I noticed this seems to happen more if the alien sim is a goofball or cringe and is in a playful mood. I have a household where (at that point) there were three alien teens, and the older sister (who has the cringe trait and was very often playful) kept erasing her dads' memories so I had to restore it each time. Her brothers did this maybe once between the two of them their entire teen years.
