I had this problems previously and reported before. It was fixed in Fixed in Patch 1.119.109/2.23. It is now happening again after th new laundry list update that went out on the 13/01/ 2026
retail stores are again having the same bugs where sims are not buying anything and will just keep walking out saying goodbye. Even sure sale is not working as soon as you start to do retail interactions they end up saying good bye.

Which issue are you referring to ? There have been several that have been fixed and also several that are still open.
The one where they don't buy from displays or they don't generally buy anything ? Do you have employees showing up. Do you have a lice cold freezer on your retail lot ?
Does it happen to all retail lots and also in a new save ?

From my previous thread. The fixes with retail stores where sims were not buying from shelves and generally don’t buy anything even outfits on mannequins is happening. Again after the latest update. Everything else still works like transferring money. Staff showing up.
I do not think it is the retail store as after the last time this broke I rebuilt. Tried a new save. Tried the same retail and was still the same. When they fixed the bug I rebuilt a new retail store that worked after the laundry list update mentioned above but since the newest update it does not work again. Like they have wiped the fixes
The same thing is happening to me. I removed all the mods and everything I had. I downloaded the retail store from the gallery. Sims come into the store, they walk around, try all the outfits off the mannequins, I have to restock all the stuff that is out on display, I interact with them, but they don't buy anything. And the same thing with the restaurant, I have so many customers but no income.

4b7338c2e36ce39c Since you're on XBox you can't share saves but could you upload your store to the gallery and post the name ?
I tested this on a very old save of mine and people are buying stuff

I looked at one save and there the issue were some inaccessible mannequins that caused Sims not to buy anyhting.
