Has anyones games beens crashing a lot since the Grim Reaper Events started?

So basically ever since the Grim Reaper update has come out my game has been unplayable. I can't modify any one my Sims after making a new game becayse sometimes I want to change how the other Sims look when dating my prefered Sim. Even if I save my world and manage household, after I change even one thing it will kick me out. No warning or error message or anything else, the loading screen would freeze and poof kick me out. I've organized, repaired, updated, and deleted stuff and mods but it isn't doing anything. Now I cant even travel back to my home after leaving the lot. I have never had a problem with my game crashing for the 2-3 years I've played this game til this Grim Reaper event started happening. Please someone help me.
