My rooster disappears every time I go to the science career job. When I get home he is gone. I have no cc or mods and I’ve tried repairing the game. The game is updated.

No. I have not used any ccs or mods to do anything to my chickens. I have never had mods installed and I have not had ccs installed for quite some time.

I recently started playing in Henford-on-Bagley. I noticed that after traveling to another lot, all my chickens disappeared. People reported this bug a year ago. A month ago, it was 'fixed.' Before that fix, I had never encountered this issue before.
I am having chickens/roosters disappear too, I play with mods and my game is updated to the latest patch. My Sims are on the large lot in HOB. I have had multiple chickens disappear twice. When I hover over the coop it says I have 4 hens, 1 rooster and 1 chic but even when I call all roaming chickens in one of the hens and the chic do not come back?
My chickens and roosters are still disappearing as well every time I travel. They claimed to have fixed this bug but it’s not fixed at all. Left my lot and I came back and they were both gone. This is so annoying. No type of quality control. Ugh.
I thought I was going crazy, but my chickens are just disappearing. There’s no talk of them running away or anything. I randomly hover over the coop and there’s either less or none at all
I've been using more of the Cottage Living expansion pack for the past few weeks. Every so often, my chickens will start disappearing. They are not in my Sims' inventory or in the household inventory. It doesn't matter if it's a hen, a rooster, a chick, or any of the special chickens. Please fix it's driving me crazy that I have to get more chickens every few weeks.
If you let them roam around freely, they disappear (for me), but since I've put them in a pen, they haven't disappeared on me yet
