[HR] Ranch Hand Stays Past 7 pm

mine also stays after 7 pm and spends more time in the house than with the animals. I wish he would just leave (like a rabbit hole) for an hour or two if there is nothing for him to do during the day, than just invade my house and set the kitchen on fire by trying to cook something.

I read in another thread somewhere that for them he stays longer if you travel during the time he is there. I'm not sure but that might be the issue for me too, or at least one of the reasons he might stay later than he should.

Also, is anyone experiencing the ranch hand getting replaced? I'm so tired of becoming friends with an employee sim like the ranch hand, for him to get replaced the next day.

I also fired a ranch hand because he set the kitchen on fire several times, would block sims using the downstairs bathroom because he just had to fix the sink for hours, but never actually fixing it. Or taking out trash my scout child sim needed to take out for his bage, join in on birthday parties etc.

I got another ranch hand the day after I fired this one, but then the day after that the other menace was back again.

I tried locking the door for employees but I had a nanny than needed access to the house and since there are no specific lock door for the ranch hand, I had to let him roam the house... I am pretty sure I traveled after getting the new ranch hand, so again, that might have something to do with it.
Since the same is true for butlers, god forbid you go anywhere in the game if you have a butler, they will most of the time be replaced for no reason.
