I noticed my game started crashing after I had put on a/some item(s) on my sim's mermaid form. I was testing to see what really caused the problem and it is definitel something that i put on the merman. However, this had never happened to my game ever before and I am using really common CCs and game items that do not affect normal human sims at all. Will be back if I figure out what kind of item but I'm still really uncertain.
It just immediately crashed after exiting CAS or trying to put a saved household into the game.
Oh my god I have been getting all the critical game bugs after the nightmarish tattoo update. My game was so enjoyable before the patch. I feel like I have to pray every single time I do any thing and play with any occult atp
UPDATE: The one(s) that caused the crashes was/were definitely the tattoos (I was just testing with the left lower arm and left upper arm categories and it immediately crashed when I exited CAS).
Details: I changed the swatch for the left upper arm (the cc is Sims3melancholic's body highlight) and removed the one in left lower arm category (the cc is Sims3melancholic's body highlight 3D).
In shorts, I definitely think the tattoo update might have something to do with it. I believe it can't be b/c of the cc specifically since the game can't working fine with the same ccs on but it crashed immediately after I removed or switch the swatches.
OH also, when the sim, in gameplay, turns into his mermaid form there is always a significantly 3-second freeze, sometimes it lasted for almost 5 seconds.
And the mentioned CCs (located in the tattoo categories) work completely fine with spellcasters, vampires, and humans for me.
