I tested your saves and can duplicate the issue but only if I move something from the fridge to the Sim and not the other way round. It also didn't happen all the time. For most saves I tried I could just click on an empty space or click with the right mouse button. Was a bit of a hit and miss.
One question about the new save you had this on: Did you go back to the main menu and then start the new save from there or did you shut down the game and then test a new save ?
Retested one of my saves that way and couldn't duplicate.
So, testing with the fresh game and new save, everything was fine until I got a certain number of items in the fridge, I spammed seed packets, then the problem would occur. Also, if I had the problem, quit to main menu, then started a new save without restarting, the problem would exist immediately in the new save.

sounds like one of these contagious issues.
When testing with a fresh game, did you put any mods/cc back or was it still without them ? I do have rather a lot of stacks on my save that I tried and didn't have issues so just making sure it's an issue that can occur on a new vanilla save as well and not only on pre-modded ones.
EmmySim79 What platform are you on ? Are you normally a mod user ?
Hi Cincrit. I'm on PC and I don't have any mods in my game. I did temporarily download MCC to fix my relationships when going into CAS triggered my spouses to turn into siblings but I have since removed that mod.
