During the reaper career during the emergency at club eternity, there are only 3 dead sims but the game is asking to collect 4 souls. I cannot find another dead sim anywhere in the building or around the lot/town

This is happening to me, I know it's been a couple of months. Has there been some kind of resolution?
So I just got the Life and Death expansion and when you go to work and you get the assignment involving Cowplants eating sims. I can only find 3 of the souls. I end up having to leave work early because I can't go back to the office. Also have issues where sims won't interact with witnesses.
Same. Three souls found, need four. Searched the lot and the entire neighborhood. The only other Sims visiting the neighborhood were teens. Couldn't save because a Sim is dying. Clearly another death was in intended. Stayed on the lot until the only option was to force quit.

I just ran into this issue. I cannot find the 4th soul to reap, and cannot return to the office. I am using a few custom content (a few walls and 2 beds), but not using mods.
