[LD] Sim in another household not dying/repeat inventory message

I keep having the same issue. Keep getting the call of a relative that has past away but they still show up alive in the family tree. This happens every time I log in. I only have the base game. 

Any updates on a fox for this issue?

Mine started doing this too.  The "dead" sim is still very much alive, but getting a notice everyday that they've died.

Edit he finally died.  Saw someone mentions sleeping sims don't die so I brought over for a stay over.  Didn't get death notice at usual time so ended the stay over.  Next day at usual death time he finally died.

Same here, been happening for days at this point. Any time I load into the game, I get a call that the sister of a sim has died. I never played with that family, the guy got into my family by marriage. I once brought that sister over to the house, they died in front of everyone, but still appear as alive in family tree. So that didn't solve anything >.<

I have been having the same problem since the update. It was my husband's brother who kept dying so I deleted him entirely and now its my mom sims brother who keeps dying. Same time, every in game day and he's still very much alive. My sims are always soooo sad
