I built a motel as a business and one of the activities that customers can do is "Watch TV". Somehow they only watch static TV and Edith keeps showing up, making my Sims customers faint. It's relentless and really annoying for the gameplay.
It would be funny if it would happen once in a while, but why are the "customers" only watching static TV?

Could you please provide the following information
My sim automatically watches static television, and sometimes also pees herself because Edith shows up. F.e. When she is cooking, she stops cooking to watch static television. This is on a lot in the new World, Ondarion.
I use MCCC, so I also tested without mods. It is still the same. Sim goes cooking, stops cooking and watches static television.

It is a residential lot, they don’t have a small business. And it is affecting multiple sims.
This is happening to me too. I've made a pub and everyone is just peeing themselves and passing out CONSTANTLY. Driving me insane!!

Sims in venues or situations where they're pushed to watch TV's - like Bars or Clubs, SB - autonomously and constantly turn on the Static Channel. Which summons Edith and causes Sims to panic, faint and have bladder failure. If I turn off the TV and a Sim turns it back on, I end up with multiple Ediths wreaking havoc.
This happens over and over again for as long as I stay at the venue. Sims turn on the Static Channel. I turn off the TV.
At first I thought it was trait related, but none of the Sims in the screenshots above have traits that might lead them to want to watch Static TV.
The Clubs pictured have been in my game for a long time. They have "Watch TV" as an activity. They have never before chosen to watch Static TV. This is a new development.
Regular Sims should not be pushed to watch Static TV. It was funny once. Maybe twice. Now it's just chaotic.
(The Bowling Alley/Bar in the screenshots is in Moonwood Mill. Sims who show up to bowl in Moonwood Mill wear the tracksuit from the Athletic career.)
This glitch is happening in my game too. I only played in a residential lot, in Bellarcorde.
same and this is SO frustrating. I play in Oasis spring, residential lot, Agave Abode. STOP THIS EDITH MADNESS
