I’ve been having this issue for a while, but my washing machine stops working randomly, and I would have to replace it and then re-upgrade it. It will just have the green light on there as if there are clothes in the wash, but there isn’t anything in there and I’m unable to put laundry in the wash.

I have the same issue. Buy a washing machine use it two or three times (latest break the housekeeper used it twice) then it stopped letting me use it. My sims clothes were getting dirtier. but no way to clean them. For me this has been happening consistantly since I purchased the fairy expansion before that it would only stop working after 4 or 5 times after fully upgrading it. my sim happens to love the washer and uses it ALOT
