It comes back. Isn't there a way to **bleep** remove the curse from the game?
Just install the mod of Bienchen, it's been 2 months a something so easy to fix is still in "Verified", I cannot imagine the bureaucracy and deeply flawed Q&A processes in the Sims Team. And if you play on console, you shouldn't, find another game, there is plenty.
