I tried switching to a different household to see if that would fix the issue but when I switched back, the previous household was still acting as if the Regal Residence Lot Trait was still equipped.

Please see my above comment for details, but I'm having a similar issue and I have NO custom content and NO mods. I have them turned off entirely because something conflicted when I got Enchanted by Nature and I couldn't go into any of my households. Having my sims get angry over non-existent issues is super annoying. Noticing lots of glitches with this expansion, tbh. Still too many glitches from Adventure Awaits that have yet to be fixed, too, such as sims constantly needing to use the bathroom when they have Steel Bladder. It often shuts down what they're doing and I have to restart their queue. Ugh. For the couple thousand dollars I've spent to have every single pack/kit, I would expect the game to work flawlessly. Why release a pack if it hasn't been thoroughly tested? Are you Microsoft?
I am not using any gameplay mods.
As of this comment the issue has resolved itself after spending time away from the home lot to allow one of the Regal Residence Moodlets to run out before another one started. Were the amount of notifications that popped up, not Moodlets as intended. I would get a notification that the value dropped below 250k then immediately get another notification saying it is over 250k a second later without me taking any action.
The only custom content I have is this beard from Enchanted by Nature with the flowers removed. I will remove the CC. I thought the issue has resolved itself but the Moodlets and notifications are back.
RStickland To be sure, your issue is not about the Regal Residence Lot trait (I haven't tried it) ? This is about another lot trait or just moodlets for something that isn't there ? If so, please create your own thread.

The bug is NOT fixed by removing the trait if a sim has moved to another lot. I keep getting the moodlet on my sim who is now in a different household. I can’t move that sim out because of a different bug that removes ownership of the imaginary friend.
