I tried switching to a different household to see if that would fix the issue but when I switched back, the previous household was still acting as if the Regal Residence Lot Trait was still equipped.

There's no way for me to know if this has been fixed because I can't play the game anymore. The entire game is broken. Houses/lots/rabbit holes have all disappeared. I've tried starting a new game, tried repairing it many times, and the recent updates have done nothing about this issue. Yes, this has been posted in an ongoing thread elsewhere. If they ever get around to making the game playable, then I can test whether or not a moodlet is working. Not sure what makes EA think people will for pay for anything in their brand new marketplace when anything they buy would also be useless.
I used the lot trait on a vacation rental home whilst my current family were there.
When they got home all adult members have been constantly celebrating the lot trait even though it's not applied to any of their lots. I could forgive the notifications, but the repeated animation is driving me barmy!
I'm on PC, don't play with mods and it's only happened since the last update.

I don’t usually complain about glitches/bugs because they tend to be workable but gosh this bug is literally ruining my game. None of my sims have this lot trait - not even the sims named in the notification. My sims wife, who is the daughter of Victor Fang, “celebrates” every single time this notification comes up which is approximately every real life minute.
I have no mods or CCs. My sim went to university at Britchester and stayed in a university home that had the lot trait but it’s not him that gets the notification so I don’t see a correlation?

I started to have the same bug 2 days ago.
My family was living in Ravenwood where I used the lot trait. Never got a pop-up like that.
Youngest son (as a teen) I moved out to Strangerville, and when I play with him on his own strangerville lot, I keep getting the message repeatedly (but with that the family's estate is worth over 50k). The Ravenwood lot with the trait is worth over 350k (I finished mansion baron aspiration there), the strangerville lot is over 50k but doesn't have the regal residence trait.
I get this bug, everything happens in ciudad enamorada.
Two sims were living in a regal residence. she was queen so he become king. They divorce, he wasn't king anymore. I move him to the appartment in Ciudad E and i get the bug. The lot trait was not on this new lot.
To remove the bug, i add the lot trait then remove it and it was ok.
Also having this issue; all mods turned off. This is the first time I'm using the trait and I'm getting bombarded with notifications.
I use 0 mods or CC. I don’t currently have it enabled in any of my worlds, but every time my Sims have guests over, it triggers the Regal Residence Lot trait pop-up.
It’s not active in any households. I turned it on once, then removed it, but ever since then it keeps triggering whenever there are parties, guests, roommates, tenants, or stayovers. Basically, any situation involving visitors causes it. It seems like the trait or feature is still being applied somehow, and the pop-up appears repeatedly.
I’ve tried repairing my game, restarting, cleared my cache and even starting a new save, but the issue still happens.
For reference, I’m playing on a MacBook with an M2 chip and 16 GB of RAM.
Im getting the same issue. I had to take off the lot trait so it wouldnt keep happening and replaced it with the one from get famous... i think its bugged but no fix
