I want to keep the child sims out of their parent's bedroom so they do not wake them up at night after nightmares. I set the door so only the parent can access that room, and if someone leaves the lot (not travel), the door locks stop working correctly. The children end up in the parent's room all the time. I have the outside of the door with the doorknob on the left. The type of door didn't matter. I do not have any mods, and am playing using the base game.

This bug is annoying. I have households with this bug. I also noticed that when I lock a door for a household sim then allow the Butler, the door locks don't work anymore; However, when I first "allow bulter only" and then allow a specific sim, it works (of course, as long as I don't leave the lot or the save)
I’m playing a household with 8 sims in an apartment style lot (not playing with For Rent) so I’m relying heavily on being able to lock doors. Ex: “Lock For Everyone But This Sim”. But the sims keep wandering past doors they shouldn’t, and sometimes they will walk back out on their own but sometimes they give the error of “I Cant Get There” and I have to unlock the door for them to get out and relock it after. Just a bit of a pain point that I haven’t had issues with in the past.
The door and gate locks do not work.
I have use the lock for everyone except This Sim option and everyone else in the household is able to go through those doors and gates. I have tried the Lock for everyone option and then Unlock for This Sim specifically, and it does not work either.
My sims usually only leave the lot to go to work, and I save regularly (manually). The position of the door/gate knob does not prevent the issue, nor does the type of door/gate.
My game is fully patched. I play on a PC.
I use mods, but the issue also happens after patches, when I test without mods.
