Yours doesn't sound as extreme as described in that thread but the core issue is the same.

Oh, sorry, I don't think I never got notified of this reply. I'll try to follow instructions when I can.

I want to clarify that I never got around providing a save because by the time I had figured I had to do it, and how, I had moved on so much with the game that I couldn't figure out which households had been affected and where they were. Sorry about that. I am also using the Cupid's app way less so I can't really comment on whether or not the issue is gone. I did at some point suspect that at least part of the problem could have "simply" come from a corruption in the name database (so that feminine names were assigned to males or viceversa), but this is a wild speculation on my part.

I have a similar issue.

I married a gallery pick from cupid's corner.  He was normal, but then he developed a female voice (despite it being male in CAS and on our original date) and when he aged up to an Elder he sometimes appears as a young adult again (this may have happened when he was an adult, but I never noticed as they look the same).  I originally thought I forgot to age him up, so I made another cake, but he can't blow out the candles because he is an Elder already, even though he appears as a young adult (although sometimes he still has the grey hair...sometimes).  If you go into CAS, he is an elder. In live mode, he's a young adult.

Honestly, at this point I can't wait for him to die.  It's weird inviting your elderly father over for your kids B-Day, only to have him appear younger than you and talk like a woman.  I will no longer use Cupid's Corner to find partners, and it was literally the only reason I bought the pack.  I will go back to the "old ways": find a household of singles on the gallery, add them to my town, then see who I meet and connect with in the world.  So irritated I ever bought Love Struck - it's ruining/breaking up all my relationships because we didn't show affection for one day AND any Cupid's Corner picks end up bugged!
