[LS] Romance Consultant: Tasks on Computer greyed out

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
-  What platform are you playing ?

Hi, I found a similar issue in the archived section but not in active bugs so am posting.

Two of my sims working from home are in the romance career sector. One is a Matchmaker and the other is a Relationship Counsellor. Their WFH tasks are greyed out despite not having completed them yet. Tried restarting the game, resetting both sims, deleting the computer and buying a new one etc etc... Not sure how to remedy this. I have never used any mods etc... only have the base game and packs from EA.

Please help! I'm trying to get them promoted to the next career level.

In the "Romance Consultant" career, when selecting the "Work from Home" option, it's impossible to complete computer-related tasks. The screenshot shows an example with the "Write a Love Advice Column" action, which cannot be performed. A pop-up message says: "You can continue completing tasks after the next workday ends." However, attending work in person doesn’t resolve the issue. The same problem occurs with other work-from-home tasks requiring a computer. No mods are installed.

Platform: PC (Steam & EA App)

Getting the same issues now.

First time she got the assignment to write love column it worked, anything after first time doesn't work. I do have mccc installed alongside other autonomy related mods, but since other posters stated that they don't have mods installed I do believe it's not mod related. Honestly don't know what could be the issue causing this, sim is working from home cause she has an infant to take care of but if this issue persists she's gonna have to switch careers.

I'll try to provide as many details as possible, sim lives in Newcrest, issue started when she lived in Willow Creek and persisted even after moving to a new world and getting a new pc (base game pc, the all-in-one powerful computer) Sim still have the laptop (the one from B&H pack) on which the issues started.

when choosing the WFH option in the romance consultant career sometimes the computer option tasks are greyed out and says something like… “there are no tasks to complete till your next work day” or whatever. No mods or cc. Makes me not be able to complete the work day

Same. I was able to "Run the Emergency Romance Hotline" the first time it was assigned. Now it's greyed out and says "There are no tasks to complete until after the next time your Sim goes to work." This seems like an unnecessary check in the first place
