Mean Interactions gain relationship

Whenever I try to do any mean interactions with any sim, regardless of likes and dislikes, it keeps building up the relationship instead of making it go red. I play on ps5 so it’s not a mods or cc issue as I don’t play with those. The bug (i assume) has lasted throughout multiple updates and is still an issue. This is strongly affecting my gameplay as the storyline I’m currently playing requires a lot of mean interactions between sims and I’m starting to not want to play anymore. Is this happening to anyone else? I can’t find anyone else talking about this bug! Please help! :(

You say it's any Sim so it doesn't matter if they already had some kind of relationship or just met ?

That’s correct! It has been happening with any sim regardless of any prior relationship or if they just met. What will happen exactly is my sim will preform the mean interaction, the other sim will have a negative physical reaction, but it will have a red (negative) relationship indicator followed by a green (positive) indicator. Or it will have no red indicator at all and will just be green. This has led to the indicators either cancelling themselves out and the relationships between the sims will not increase or decrease, or the relationship will increase if only the green indicator popped up.

Ever since enchanted by nature dropped my sims have been unable to use any mean or rude interaction with someone without it boosting the relation by a mega ton. I don’t know how to fix this or what is causing it. (Sorry about the bad quality of the clip it wouldn’t let me use the video and I’m new to the forums so this was the best I could do)

I have a Sim with the same issue. Just this one Sim. Lots of her mean interactions increase relationships instead of decreasing them, notably with her estranged mother and her husband's ex. It's so frequent I have to use relationship cheat codes to keep their relationship negative. It's a very annoying bug.

In fact it makes it hard to do any relationship really. I’m kinda just sitting in the house doing nothing everyday it’s really lame I can’t even explore the new pack lol

This happens on pets too. When a sim does a mean interaction with my pets, they both get a green plus afterwards.

This already has a report but need to check with CM with thread they want to use before merging.
