[MGCK] [CLCK] Broken textures for cardigan/Santa outfit

Hello: I got the Mean Girls Kit today, I noticed that two of the presets appear broken. On the Cardigan T-Shirt Top it is the last preset and on the Christmas Themed full body outfit, it is the seventh preset. All other presets are working fine.

And just to ensure a preemptive strike where questions are concerned - I uninstalled the pack and reinstalled, did a repair of the game, removed my mods folder, removed all cache files and these two particular presets still did not appear properly which is not entirely surprising considering they appear to be missing their textures.

I just cannot let an issue go; I have to find a solution. On these two presets - 12 on the Cardigan and 7 on the Santa Dress changing the texture size from 1024x2048 to 2048x4096 fixed the issue and they are now working in my game.

Update: Just adding a little note, this is only a temporary workaround and only will work for those that use CC.

What do you mean change texture size? I have the same issue 😭

Oh, sorry, I thought I mentioned in my post that I had to make an override of the broken preset using Sims 4 Studio. Sadly, it was the only workaround I found for it. I exported the diffuse texture. Opened it up in Photoshop. Changed the image size from 1024x2048 to 2048x4096. Saved. Imported the updated diffuse texture into the override package. Saved. Plopped the package into my mods folder and it worked after that. It is fairly straight forward if you have some experience with making custom content, if not, I can send you the files if you want them until EA is able to fix them.

Just checked in my game and I cannot replicate?

Thank you for commenting. I am happy to hear you are not having this issue but wanted to thank you because you made me think of something I didn't try. Anything is worth a shot, so I switched my game over to Direct X 9 to see if that would make a difference. It was a hail Mary if you will. Shut the game down, removed my mods, removed the cache files, rebooted the game, and alas still the same two messed up textures. It was worth a shot. 

There are a few of us having the same issue here in this thread. I hope you figure out a solution.

So, this is everything I have tried.

CC Removed - Not that I have very many of them to begin with, under 10 mods and mostly overrides that I make myself, but I removed them all. The entire mods folder was sitting on my desktop.
Cache Files Removed
Uninstall Mean Girls / Reinstall 
Repaired the Game
Direct X 9 or Direct X 10 Doesn't Change Anything

None of those worked. Issue still persists and seeing this was moved from bug report all the way over to the Sims 4 Mods and Custom Content. Here are some pictures from the fresh install of Mean Girls, with no mods, and cleaned cache showing the same issue. So, if anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate them.

While not everyone is having this issue, there are a few of us who are and hopefully, they share more details. I can tell you this, the marketplace automatically started to download Mean Girls in the game. I can also tell you that when I opened the EA App, it had a download button for it. Now, is that important? Maybe, but it did the same thing for the Music Den kit, but the Music Den Kit didn't have any issues and played fine, so maybe it is just a quirk between the two systems. CC, Mods, those are things I know. Apps and how lines of codes communicate, not so much. 😅

I am assuming this got moved from bug report to here, because I managed to fix it with an override, yeah that is CC, but that is not a fix for the actual issue. If any of you having this issue, can add in any solutions or information about whether or not you have CC, No CC, DX9 or DX11, anything just to give some more information. It is all helpful.

UPDATE: I went to the App and uninstalled Clueless and Mean Girls because I know when I go into C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\TS4 and remove all files in that folder from the 27th and 28th I wasn't going to know which one was which. Then I went into my Sims 4 folder in the C Drive and removed / moved the SP83 and SP84 (Mean Girls and Clueless) Folders to the desktop. Removed the cache. The game forced me to reinstall the two kits. Clueless worked fine. Mean Girls had the same two broken presets on the same two items. Didn't fix it. 

Updated: Checked Windows and Nvidia to make sure they were up to date. Had a single update. Restarted the computer after. It also did not fix the issue. Just to rule updates out. I guess I should also add in here, I have all Expansions, Stuff Packs, Game Packs, Kits. I do, also, have a few maker packs.
